Nokia e71 Freezes and powers off

Hi all, I've had this unlocked Nokia e71 on the t-mobile network for about 7 or so months. The phone freezes and shuts off throughout the day. Sometimes it will work fine for about 32 hours and then the cycle of freezing and shutting off starts again. This started about 2 or so weeks ago.

I've looked on the Nokia Forums and there are a couple of suggestions.

1. go to settings - phone-network and and make sure the phone is on GSM mode. I have already done this.

2. update the firmware. I believe I have the latest firmware, however I will try this next.

Currently, the only way I can get this phone to power on after a freeze is to remove the battery for a couple of hours and then power up the phone.

This seems to work but it's absolutely ineficient.

If you have any suggestions please post.

I don't suppose disabling key-tones makes a difference? It used to on earlier Nokia models which had this issue.

So no luck at all with this...

Might Talks be responsible for the phone crashing?

I don't want to purchase another device only to have it go through the same problems.
